Happy Days in Nantucket
The Dartmouth alumni owners of this charming Nantucket escape have renovated the house and added modern amenities while preserving the warmth of an antique home. It has an open, contemporary floor plan—ideal for family living. And it’s just a short stroll to Nantucket’s beloved, historic downtown, Children’s Beach and lovely Brant Point.
When you enter the home, you’ll be greeted by picturesque murals of local landscapes, crisp white walls, and richly-stained hardwood floors. The sunny, updated kitchen features granite countertops, a center island, gas range and stainless steel appliances. It opens to the dining room which has seating for eight. You’ll also find a living room with fireplace and a casual family room where guests will enjoy comfortable seating and a large, flat screen TV—a great place to chill after a day at the beach. Also on the first floor is a laundry room and private master suite featuring a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower and separate tub.
Upstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed; the second has two twin beds; and the third has a daybed with a trundle. These cheerful bedrooms share a hall bathroom with a combination tub/shower.
Our active owner recommends “South Shore for big waves and boogie boarding, and a trip to the Cisco Brewery to enjoy music, food trucks, festive cocktails and beer.”
